By jingo, move over Jane there is a new jungle girl in town in the form of Bindi Irwin! On Friday, 25th May in Australia Zoo's Elephantasia exhibit Bindi launched her new television series, 'Bindi: The Jungle Girl'. From the tree-tops of her tree house, Bindi alongside her mum Terri and Director of Australia Zoo, Wes Mannion announced the launch of her new TV series which will air on ABC TV.

'Bindi: The Jungle Girl' will screen Wednesdays at 4:05pm starting July 18. What a little ripper! The show is a combination of fun and adventure and for the Irwin's conservation has always been a family affair and this series carries on that mission to educate young and old on the wonders of the natural world.

From her tree-house perched high in the jungle, Bindi will take us to every corner of the globe to meet her wonderful world of wildlife.

"I'm proud to be showing kids that conservation and helping wildlife is a stack of fun", said Bindi.

With the help of Steve Irwin's video library of hottest Croc Hunter action, Bindi shows us many of her famous Dad's adventures that have not been seen before. Her Mum Terri, Steve's best mate Wes, and her singing and dancing troop, The Crocmen, also drop in to introduce us to many of the animals who share her jungle home. Like a Noah's Ark, Bindi's tree-house is constantly visited by all sorts of animals, such as her favourite cockatoo Occa, Peru the Iguana, or one of her many drop-dead gorgeous snakes like Blackie, the black-headed python!

So tune into the ABC from July 18 and check out this amazing series for yourself!
